As a result of legislation intended to facilitate a statewide managed care system by 2020, the Great Rivers Behavioral Health Organization (GRBHO) has evolved.

On January 1, 2020, Great Rivers Behavioral Health Organization transitioned into two separate entities. Those are Great Rivers Behavioral Health Organization LLC (Great Rivers) and Community Integrated Health Services, LLC (CIHS).

Community Integrated Health Services (CIHS) is a Washington State-based behavioral health organization offering quality care to all communities we serve. Current counties served are: Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Lewis, Pacific, and Wahkiakum. Our team of dedicated, experienced professionals offer a variety of behavioral health services to people of all ages.

CIHS' mission is to assist individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders to obtain necessary, skills, counseling, medication management, and support services to improve their quality of life and level of functioning. Services are delivered in a variety of settings, including in-office, community-based locations, or in-home depending on individual treatment needs. CIHS is now offering Telehealth services (video and phone).

Medicaid funded Behavioral Health services are managed by the Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and their network of providers. The Medicaid MCOs in the region are United Healthcare, Molina, Amerigroup, Coordinated Care and Community Health Plan of Washington. CIHS has contracts with United Health Care, Amerigroup, Coordinated Care and Community Health Plan of Washington. Below are links to the regional MCOs.
